I liked Panic! At the Disco before they became popular. Then they became lame, haven't listened to them since it just collects dust. Anyway I missed: Blink 182 - Take Off Your Pants and Jacket Found it hiding somewhere.

The music they made before they started making music after becoming "popular" shouldn't have changed any bit.
Unless you're one of those people who only like things that other people think are cool, but nobody else knows about to the point where they aren't popular. What's the point.

They became sell-outs and losers, that is the reason I don't like them anymore. Before their music had reason and meaning to some(like me). However, now their music is played all over the radio to kids who are musically inclined and follow the "popular" sound. Ever since they have been feeding off their so called fans that won't care about them when their next CD doesn't make the charts.

I know some people try to justify their liking in music or justify the quality of music in general for "meanings" but eventually people just start saying this when they stop liking bands. It's really stupid.
I mean come on. I couldn't care less as to why a band made a song. It could be to fund the very destruction of the Earth. If I like how it sounds, that is all that matters. It isn't a religion, I'm not going to invite it to dinner and have it meet my parents or anything, so I don't care what its intentions are. Or that of the creators.
Sometimes a band will just pump out songs for the sake of money or pleasing fans, but it's not for that reason that the songs suck. It's for the reason that the songs suck that they suck. It just happens that sometimes the right incentive makes good music, but this isn't always the case.
You liked their music before they "sold out." What made their old music suddenly sound terrible? Does a band selling out alter your hearing some how to the point where their music suddenly sounds terrible? I don't get it. You're not forced to like every album a band comes out with.
It's like, selling out your likes in music because a band wanted money, or stopped playing the way you like. What's the point in only liking them because they play the way you want them to?
