My definition of preppy nowadays =
wearing abercrombie and fitch and/or american eagle
wearing those ugly white square shell necklaces
dudes having long blonde hair
those hawaiian shorts with flowers on them
ugly ass retro t's
even uglier, assier pre worn out bleached jeans
trucker hats
skater shoes
low rise jeans (not neccesarily a terrible thing)
aviator sunglasses
just too much too list
anyways, most people don't like preps because they're too trendy and there's usually like 5000 preps in the same city that look alike

Dont even get me started on how wrong that quote is, Avril is not punk, she will never be punk neither is Good Charlet or Sum 41 or any of that new crap, if its radio frendly, it aint punk.. chad told be that and that is how i know its true avril. and punk dont even belong in the same scentence!, not how i put a period behind avril to show how you have to start a new sentence.. You didn't even finish your thought. DEVO isn't even punk. They're new wave. DEVO is actualy concidered punk, Because, back in the day all the punks listen to them, so they are now known to almost everyone as New Wave Punk... Well anyone who thinks shes is punk need to wake up and listen to some anti-flag, thats a good example of punk, and you dont have to dress like a punk to be punk, you dont need all the braclets and what not, the music is all that matters

I still consider DEVO pop. They use synthesizers. Doesn't sound very punk to me.
Also, avril lavigne is pop punk.

Hahaha, that guy rolled up his pants, looks like he has on capris or something.
Anyways, I hate pre-worn out jeans at stores like the Gap and Old Navy. If you throw some bleach on your regular jeans yourself, I guess that's alright.
