The ending seemed alright to me since I wasn't really looking for a plot-oriented movie.

I'm still very strict about a clear begining, middle, and end... this film's style was not Brecht, therefor had no reason to just end so sudden. If it had happened to be Brecht the ending wouldn't bother me... but it would add a whole new list of problems.

It was mainly the ending that lost it for me, I don't know if I missed something both times, but something seemed like it was missing... like, you know, a meaningful ending. Since when have any teen party movies had a meaningful ending?

I wouldn't know, I don't watch them, however any movie should have a good ending.

Of course it's not necessary, it's also not necessary to have a pointless female character to distract a movie from the point with a meaningless love intrest, yet most movies do. (other than Boondock Saints)
So obviously it wouldn't kill them to put some effort into the ending, whenever I see movies without an ending it makes me think they skipped that whole part of script writting class. People wonder why I don't piss my money away on movies.

The whole movie was about them getting the girls. At the end they got the girls.

Don't get me wrong, but I thought movies were for entertainment, not like judging a book report or figure skating.
It can end adruptly for all I care, as long as it isn't boring. Even a terrible form can bring entertainment.

I'm very script based.
Oh, I forgot to mention that part, it was also boring. Pretty much all the funny parts were already shown on tv, I mean it was good, but only that, nothing special from every other teen movie.

i give napoleon dynamite a 5/5 A++++ would watch dance scene over and over again I give this review a 3/5 because I give Napoleon Dynamite 10/10 not only 5/5. It had a really satisfying ending that gave me a feeling of I really knew things had been tied up and resolved at the end.

If you could look instead of gawking You would see the horror in the heart of farce If you would act instead of talking You wouldn't always end up on your arse This is the thing that had us nearly mastered Don't yet rejoyce in his defeat you men Though the world stood up and stoped the bastard The bitch that bore him is in heat again...
