im not sure what other movies were up for awards, but i wonder if RoTK deserved every single one of them.
its a great movie for sure, but im just saying it shouldn't be able to sweep an awards show like that

i know, it was great, but give the other movies a chance, i guess no good movies were relaced at that time, they picked a good time to bring it out dont you think?

the timing didn't matter too much, they released 1 each year for 3 years anyways. and its annoying to think peter jackson hasn't really filmed anything for LoTR since about 2000 or something, and he gets more and more awards. but hey, thats just me. i think kill bill should of won something, along with the butterfly effect

ok you know what? what the academy did was pretty smart, i mean all the LOTR movies deserved best pic award etc. they knew that and said, well we could give it to them for 3 years and no one else gets anything, or just one year, so yah they deserved every award they got, plus the biggest contender was Mystic River, others were Lost in translation, master and commander, Seabiscuit, so competition wasn't that tough, but as i said,no matter what they had it, it was a gauranteed win since thats what the academys plans were, LOTR could have owned 3 years, but they just let 1 year

yah i watched the academy awards ..the only bad thing about the tons of awards the lord of the rings-the two towers movie made was that the were compared to the titanic movie..ugh i hated that movie it was soo retarded and it was shity they were compared to it only because it won the same amount of awards...
