Reviews typically come in three parts, the plot, the good, and the bad. I will follow this system as I have nothing better to do.
Ok, this movie is about a kid who can't leave his house for legal reasons so he starts to spy on people. During this time he finds a reason to believe his neighbor is killing people. SPOILER: He is.
The good:
I like the kid in the movie, I've liked him since his Even Stevens days, it was a god aweful show on the Family Channel, NO wait DO NOT OMFG ME FOR KNOWING THAT.
I like how in the movie the girl he likes isn't insainly good looking, which makes it a little more realistic than him living next to say... Anna Kournikova or something. However the reality ends there, cue the bad!
The Bad:
A few things annoyed me about this movie I will now list them. This may contain spoilers, cry about it.
1) This kid and the girl go from not knowing eachother to best friends in like 60 seconds flat. I don't know about you, but the last time I got that close to someone that fast I had to pay them afterwards.
2) I believe girls will agree with me when I say CREEPING ON SOMEONE IS NOT A TURN ON. I don't care how much you learn about them it just isn't and if you dissagree you should have your brain looked at.
3) This part is hard to make a judgment on because they never give a clear statement of just how much time has pasted between the climax and the end of the movie. If you look the mother and the son still have marks from event while Ronnie comes walking into the picture like everything is fine. Now I'm not expert on getting hit in the face with a bat but my assumption is that it takes longer to recover from that than a punch in the face.
4) Once again the timeframe comes into play here. Dear mother and son: You both almost died... act like it. Now, I'm the first to admit I've never almost died but my guess is you don't rebound back that fast.
Rating: 7/10 It was ok, not great, but not bad either.
