Well I have not read the books or anything so I had no clue what it was about.
Anyways, the world is about to end and a man and his friend from another planet leave the planet right before it does. The movie follows their little adventure around the galaxy. Along the way you meet many intresting characters, side storys, and intresting facts.
Rating 9/10 I heard if you like the books you won't like it too much, but I haven't so I liked it.
