Well today was the opening day for Spiderman 3 and I decided (because I am such a fan) that I would go to a show. Now here is my review. If you are going to see Spiderman 3 for the intense action that the commercial advetises then you are wrong. Well the action scenes are amazing and mind-blowing, there are just fewer than you would think with 3 villains running amok. However, this adaption to the series takes on a more story line orientated view tieing up any loose ends from the previous two. Yes, as I mentioned before there are 3 villains: Sandman, Harry's version of the Green Goblin, and the vicious Venom. However, the casting for Eddie Brock(Venom) could have been better. Topher Grace(Eric Foreman) is far too scrawny to be Venom when we have always seen him as this huge brute. Nevertheless, the story stays pretty true to the original comic which is a good thing, these movies weren't brutalized like the X-Men series. There are a few alterations but, what can you do? And the black Spidey outfit that has been a huge part of the hype is only around for about 20 mins. Nevertheless, if you are a Spiderman fan you will enjoy this movie. Sam Raimi did an awesome job of directing and Tobey Maguire has an outstanding performance showing a darker side of Peter without taking it too over the top. Ofcourse, in true retrospect, the first one is always the best. On another note, this is my 100th post. Wooo!

On another note, this is my 100th post. Wooo! That's the REAL reason he went to go see it! So he could reach this number in posting this! /postdelete
I happened to run into somebody on the bus who saw it as well. They said that it wasn't as action-packed as it was hyped, but I had to see it for myself to see it for myself.
Though I was expecting some major actionage in this one with Venom and Green Goblin and whatnot, I knew to expect a lot of story and other stuff like the others had. I don't mind that, though, as long as it is good.
I figured if anyone else was going to see it then I would too, but otherwise I'm not going to go out of my way. As going to the movies alone isn't always a fun trip.

Yeah, I went to Spiderman3 bymyself, not the funnest, but still fun. Yeah, with Venom being the bad guy I also thought "More action!" but it was storyline. However, the storyline is well written and keeps your interest.

So I finally saw it.
I enjoyed it. Though it took about 25 minutes to finally get to some Spider-Man action. The first 25 was just Parker or MJ or Mr. Sandman and talking. There seemed to be few action scenes but maybe it's just me.
Though if anything, the entire movie is worth only just to see Parker go around town when he's all dark and whatever. I laughed pretty hard.

The bits and pieces of this movie I saw sucked, at least X-Men 3 had Jean Luc Picard exploding.

Harry did it in SM3, kinda. He was all like "here I come to save the day!" then died.

At least Goblin took someone down.
Cage and Clops just exploded on impact.
Their shades got them nowhere. Nowhere.
