Well before i go out and buy more ram, or a new computer (ya right) i was just wondering if instaling some updates would help (i havent had a new update since like before SP2 cause i didnt hear good things about it) so do you think i should do that before going crazy with a new computer?

Depends. Save your computer state, update. If it breaks anything, reload the save state.

If you were just to buy ram, you would still be limited by the other things your computer has. Updates wouldn't help.

well nothing else on my computer is a problem, i dont think video or sound card would be the reason it takes abour 15 minutes and about 35 start ups (at least) to get my computer finaly to run
