What music are you guys gonna use for this newest video?

I say don't make an entire video of eating stuff SOS style, but rather 1 or 2 parts of eating/drinking or whatever.

For music, I know none of you know who Children Of Bodom are, but they kick ass, and their song Northern Comfort might go well depending on the flow of the video. And it's not too long, it's about 3:47.

For ideas.. hmm.

-Perhaps people playing shot for shot on cam?
-Milk drinking contest! (i know i've said this before)
-Playing with fireworks (i might be able to convince my brother to give me some more)

I watched Season 1 of Viva La Bam tonight/today (i don't know what 5 AM is considered )

He has some funny ass stuff. We would never be able to make a drawbridge like he did, but he did do a Scavenger Hunt featuring The Bloodhoung Gang, which resulted in absolute hilarity

Perhaps we could compile a scavenger hunt list and carry it out? It's pretty high hopes for simple videos on SPN, but maybe if we had 2 cameras, it could be done, 1 wouldn't be enough.

i woudln't consider it copying. lotsa people have done scavenger hunts throughout all of history.

they did have some hillarious ones like "Get a strike with cheesy shoes" and "Get a piggyback ride from a cop"

Alright, I got bored and watched all the previous SPN videos, and decided to make a few notes, to see what could be improved on n shit.

- I didn't like the look of the white text on blue of the earlier videos, Fantastic Voyage had superior text

- The videos are much too short, the credits, way too long

- Too much stuff centering around playgrounds

- Jordan buried underneath that wood stuff and coming out was funny. More random crap like that would rule.

- I know you guys don't wanna be like Jackass, but I say if SPN wants to reach true fame, it's gonna have to step it up a notch.

- I noticed there was a lack of puking. Puking on film, albeit gross, is always entertaining

- All the music is old stuff. Makes the videos seem old, need more current music.

- SOS wasn't a terrible idea, it could of been done better. Perhaps grosser stuff? Something like that.

- Trippy video is the worst IMO. About 50 seconds of footage and the rest is credits and same stuff over.

- Fantastic Voyage had terrible footage, but the editing was pretty good on it.

- Like I said before, Picture Story, not a bad idea, if ever done again, could be improved. Maybe someone else narrating the others story could be good

- Picture Story had no music, methinks music is important. maybe some background music while the narrator talks would be good, and some music for the credits

- maybe every video could have something at the end, like a picture, such as the "In the memory of Justin" pic, or a small clip, so the credits would be worth watching.



so yeah, i just put this in here so perhaps the next SPN video will be super fantabulous.

Justin and I dont like putting things at the end of credits for one reason... who watches them? and for the SOS one, we did do grosser stuff, but it was deleted, and justin and i have agreed NOT to do another one of them ever again, Picture story, ya i have some better ideas, such as a trip to the mall, or a day at school or some wacked out thing like that and trust me, it will be done better, it wont be a 5 minute job, about the saw dust, i was itching for a week.. not to mention how long it took to get it all out of my pants, but over all, its a good idea, old music was what we were looking for, we didnt want any new rap or metal stuff, and about the playground, we cant find many other places to film... and about being too short, we want to fit it on geocities, and keep the quality as good as possible, so we try to keep it under 3 minutes

but overall, i like your suggestions, get bored more often and keep them coming

Well that's why I said to put something at the end of the video? If no one is going to watch the credits, why bother putting them in anyways?

Another straight SOS video isn't necesary, but perhaps cut in a clip or two, and not just a themed eating weird stuff vid.

Your idea for picture story sounds good

Haha, I wasn't saying you had to do another sawdust thing, but something random like it that appears after another longer clip

I still say you should put at least 1 current song on a vid. Too much retro-y stuff. For some reason makes me think of all these people following that "retro" trend wearing all their pre-faded out shit. bleh.

But if you guys insist on retro songs, perhaps I can give a suggestion or two
